Lo scorso weekend era stato davvero carino… quello che sta finendo.. bè, non esattamente :-D
Il fatto è che lavoro praticamente tutti i fine settimana ed essendo i turni a rotazione, questa settimana mi è capitato il turno 12.30 – 9.00 pm di sabato e 9.30 – 6.00 pm di domenica. Ciò pregiudica la possibilità di fare qualcosa il sabato sera, perciò la mia conoscenza della vita notturna di Vancouver è davvero limitata. Ci sono diversi club qui downtown e ho davvero voglia di andarci a fare un giretto, fare qualche numero come al Kalhua, caro Luighi :-D Ma non posso presentarmi addormentato al lavoro!! La mia collega Julia m’aveva anche invitato ad andare con lei ieri sera ma ho dovuto rimandare… penso che la prossima volta ci andrò :-) E così il mio sabato sera si è concluso in maniera abbastanza squallida con tanto di cena direttamente dal 7-eleven sotto casa (presto parlerò della mia alimentazione qui… e ci sarà da ridere :-D)... mi è sembrato di rivivere la mitica canzone dei grandi 883.. i pacchi del sabato sera!!! In più oggi era pure tutto sole e 20°! Adam se ne è andato in spiaggia.. Lucky Bastard!!Domani qui è festa nazionale, è il Victoria Day ed avrò il giorno libero, per essere esatti avrò due giorni liberi. Riprenderò a lavorare mercoledì e così domani e dopo si ritorna a fare qualche giretto.. pensavo di andare a vedere il Queen Elizabeth Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Elizabeth_Park,_British_Columbia), uno dei più importanti di tutta Vancouver, usato anche come location di Stargate SG1, grande telefilm e la zona di East Vancouver (Commercial & Victoria Drive) dove vivono un paio di persone che ho conosciuto qui. Tutto sempre se batterò anche questa volta la mia laziness!!!
Nel frattempo, il 15, ho pure compiuto gli anni…. Oh my God.. 26!! I’m getting old….

Last weekend had been really lovely..this one that is ending right now.. well, not exactly :-D
The fact is that I was working this weekend and since the shifts rotate, this week I got the afternoon shift on Saturday (12.30 – 9.00 pm) and the day shift on Sunday (9.30 am – 6.00 pm). This doesn’t allow me to go out on Saturday night until late and therefore my knowledge of Vancouver nightlife is quite limited. There are several clubs here downtown and I really badly wanna go to dance.. damn,really badly :-D But obviously I cannot go asleep at work the day after!It's not my intention do that!! My colleague Julia invited me to go with her yesterday evening but I had to postpone..but pretty sure I’ll go next time :-) And so my Saturday finished in a quite miserable way with 7-eleven dinner just beside my building (nothing like last week dinner :-( …soon I’ll talk about my diet here and then..you’ll laugh :-D). And then today was sunny and 20°.. Adam was at the beach… Alex at work.. Damn..Lucky bastard!!! Tomorrow here is a national holiday, the Victoria Day to be exact and I’ll have the day off, two days off precisely. I’ll go back to work on Wednesday and so tomorrow and the day after tomorrow I’ll hang around.. I was thinking to visit the Queen Elizabeth Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Elizabeth_Park,_British_Columbia), one of the most important here in Vancouver, used also like location for Stargate SG1, one of my favourite TV series and East Vancouver (Commercial & Victoria Drive) where a couple of person that I know live. Everything of course, if I’ll defeat again my laziness!!
In the meantime, on the 15th (nice day) , I turned 26..oh my God!!I’m getting old…

- I Giapponesi NON sanno l'inglese. Vago avevi ragione! Quando lo parlano hanno un accento terribile!

- Julia was so kind to show how my name is written in Korean.. U can't imagine how she is fast to write the ideograms!!
- Japanese DON'T speak english! And when they do they have a terrible accent!
- All Brazilian or at least 50 % are Italian and they still speak Italian!
- I couldn't make some photo of a Ford Mustang meeting! Was unbelievable!I wanna that ride!
