Finalmente oggi ho lasciato quell'orribile ostello e chissà se mai ci ritornerò..non credo..
Backpack in spalla, ho fatto il mio ingresso all'YWCA Hotel. Gestito da un'organizzazione cristiana evangelica, proprio di fronte al BC Place Stadium , la casa dei BC Lions, mi sono piazzato in una doppia all'11 piano, x circa 40 euro a notte, certamente + caro dell'ostello ma imparagonabile..
Location perfetta, pieno centro, bagno in camera, lavanderia a gettoni e cucine nell'albergo, tv con 50 canali e wireless. In questo modo mi arrangerò a mangiare qui dentro risparmiando qualcosina.. A proposito, proprio oggi ho fatto la mia prima visita ad un vero supermercato..o almeno qlcs di simile. Non esiste nulla qui in centro paragonabile ai nostri Carrefour.Solo tantissimi 7-Eleven ovviamente gestiti da indiani!!
Mi devo ricredere sui costi del cibo: alcune cose costano davvero di +, altre hanno prezzi irrisori.. Tantissima roba già pronta x microonde, taniche del latte da 5 litri..tante cose in Italia mai viste..
Posto la foto di un muffin, prezzo 0.89 cent, cioè 55 eurocent.. pesera 100 grammi!!!
Posto anche la foto del mio pranzo giapponese di ieri: teriyaki classic con funghi,riso,gamberetti. 7.95 dollari circa 4.7 €!
Finally today I left that horrible hostel.. who knows if I’ll never go back there..
Backpack on my shoulders, I moved into the YWCA Hotel. Managed by an evangelical organization, right in front of the BC Place Stadium , BC Lions home, I am in a double room on the 11th floor, 40 € for night, certainly more expensive than the hostel but the quality is not comparable.
Perfect location, right in downtown, bathroom, coin laundry, kitchens inside the hotel, tv with 50 channels, wireless. In this way I’ll try to cook b myself savin’ smth. About this, today I did my 1st visit in an almost real supermarket or better, something similar. There’s nothing here downtown comparable to ours Carrefour for example. Only a bunch of 7-Eleven obviously managed by some Indians.
I have to make a correction about food prices: something costs really a lot more than Italy, something is amazingly cheaper. A bunch of ready stuff to cook by microwave, milk tanks of about 5lt!!! A lot of thing never seen back in Italy.
I post here a muffin photo, .89 cent, about 55 eurocent, it probably weighes 100 grams!!
