Oh guys..today was so a fucking cool day!! It was really awesome to say that like Canadians always say!
I met with Graham this morning and with his German roommate that he shares the same hostel room and together, after picking up the right route with Google Maps we headed to English Bay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Bay_(Vancouver)) the most popular beach over here. It was really cool, the weather was just great, the sun is blessing this city lately and luckily I got a sunscreen for my ghost skin this morning or probably now I would have been in a strong pain! The beach is ok, the ocean is... mmm, well not so so cool but the location is great. Really close to Stanley Park, close to my house, so great!
We spent there a couple of hours just looking around and chilling out. After that we headed to Stanley Park, to some places that I hadn’t seen yet. We strolled along the Seawall walking through the woods, passing Third Beach, Second Beach (with a pool just by the sea) and the First Beach; the main beaches that you can find in Stanley Park itself. We’ve even been able to see the Lost Lagoon, a really particular spot in the centre of Stanley Park. Really cool, with a lot of wildlife around: swans, gooses, ducks, squirrels, birds. Kind of romantic place too. Quite a lot of romantic places around here, right? :-D
And after all this stuff that we saw, walking for I guess 3\4 kilometres since we got back home walking, came the coolest part of the day! After more than one month in my building I tried everything: hot tub, steam room and sauna! Holy shit that was awesome!!! It was so cool! I’ve been quite dumb to not try these amenities before.. but from now on..I’ve to use them more often! The hot tub is really so fucking cool! Ok,today was pretty hot outside but still, oh yea! I think is cooler just try that, u know, with a girl and a glass of wine :-D Maybe it’ll happen, LOL.. my invite is always valid.. if some girl that is reading these pages, over here in Vancouver wanna try them.. You're welcome and I'm a good guy :-D :-D ! The steam room, man... it becomes so damn hot in there! You can’t breathe but.. I could do that for a while! I was sweating like hell.. never sweated so a lot like in there! Anyway, amazing that I’ve all this stuff just here, 4 floors down! I found out that we even have a shared terrace where you can just lay down in the sun.. AWESOME!
I took a look to Graham’s photos.. holy Jesus... the places where he was.. damn, it’s like a dream! I can’t wait to go there! The sunset on the Golden Gate Bridge... Vegas... Alcatraz... the Grand Canyon.. MAN!!! Fucking awesome!
I really have to thank him, he helped me a lot have him around and it’s really true what they say about your Erasmus student exchange program: the guys that you’ve known there, you’ll never forget them! You lived the same experiences, saw the same things, lived really together and you can always go around the world and visit them, the kind of friendship that links us together it’s something really particular and think about who considers these experiences like a loss of time.. oh guys.. u are fucking crazy, u don’t know nothing about the world! We met in Spain and here in Canada. Next time it’ll be in Britain.. I’m pretty sure I’ll stop there a couple of days on my long way down when I’ll go back.

Oh guys… oggi è stato davvero un giorno fucking cool! Si potrebbe definire “Awesome” come i Canadesi spesso dicono!
Mi sono incontrato con Graham e con il suo compagno di stanza tedesco all’ostello qui in Granville Street e dopo aver buttato un occhio a Google Maps per trovare la giusta direzione, ci siamo diretti verso English Bay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Bay_(Vancouver)) la spiaggia più popolare di Vancouver. It was really cool, il tempo era perfetto , il sole sta benedicendo la città ultimamente e fortunatamente mi sono comprato una crema solare stamattina per coprire la mia pelle da fantasma perché altrimenti adesso sarei scottato completamente! La spiaggia è ok, l’oceano mmm, non è so cool ma la location è perfetta. Veramente vicina a Stanley Park, a casa, perciò perfetta!
Siamo stati in spiaggia per un paio d’ore giusto per dare un’occhiata in giro e rilassarsi un attimo. Dopodiché ci siamo diretti verso Stanley Park, verso alcuni posti non ancora visti. Camminando lungo la Seawall e attraverso la foresta, abbiamo passato le principali spiaggia di Stanley Park. Siamo stati perfino in grado di vedere la Lost Lagoon, qualcosa di partire giusto al centro del parco. Really cool con tanto di natura tutt’intorno: cigni, anatre, papere e ovviamente scoiattoli ovunque. Diciamo un posto romantico. Sembra che ce ne siano diversi qui intorno, non è vero?
E dopo tutta questa roba che siamo riusciti a vedere, camminando per credo 3\4 kilometri visto che siamo tornati a casa a piedi, ecco la parte più spettacolo dell’intero giorno! Dopo poco più di un mese che vivo qui ho finalmente provato tutto: la Jacuzzi, il bagno turco e la sauna!! Holy shit, spettacolare!! It was so cool! Diciamo che son stato abbastanza stupido a non provare tutte queste cose prima ma da adesso in poi credo che non mi farò sfuggire l’occasione per provarle di nuovo! La Jacuzzi è spettacolare! Ok, oggi era abbastanza caldo fuori ma comunque… Penso sia ancora più spettacolo con qualche ragazza intorno, con qualche bottiglia di champagne.. LOL! Il bagno turco, man.. diventa davvero caldo lì dentro! Non riesci quasi a respirare ma sono riuscito a starci dentro per un po’! Non ho mai sudato così tanto come oggi!
Ad ogni modo, spettacolo che ho tutto ciò giusto a quattro piani di elevator! Ho perfino scoperto che abbiamo un terrazzo condiviso con tanto di panchine.. ragazzi spettacolo!!AWESOME!
Ho potuto buttare un occhio alle foto di Graham.. holy Jesus.. i posti dove è stato.. non ci sono parole.. non vedo davvero l’ora di andarci! Il tramonto sul Golden Gate Bridge a San Francisco, Las Vegas... il Grand Canyon.. Alcatraz! MAN!
Devo davvero ringraziare Graham comunque, mi ha aiutato averlo in giro sia ora che all’inizio della mia avventura qui ed è davvero realtà ciò che si dice riguardo all’Erasmus: tutta la gente che conosci durante quel periodo, non la scorderai mai! Hai vissuto le stesse esperienze, visto le stesse cose , vissuto davvero insieme e puoi sempre andare in giro per il mondo e rivederli di nuovo, il tipo di amicizia che ti unisce è davvero particolare e pensare a chi considera l’Erasmus o esperienze all’estero solo come una perdita di tempo, o ragazzi, voi davvero non sapete nulla di com’è il mondo, voi siete fucking crazy!! Ho visto Graham in Spagna, qui in Canada, la prossima volta sarà in Gran Bretagna, sono abbastanza sicuro di fermarmi là un paio di giorni sulla via verso casa.
